Preparation
Preparing your body in the right way can help you get the best results from your treatment.
The most important tip: don’t shave in the week or so before your appointment.
Your hair should be at least 0.5 centimetres long to give the wax enough to grip onto.
Gently exfoliate 24 to 48 hours beforehand to help remove dead skin and prevent ingrown hairs.
Make sure you also avoid sunbathing, tanning beds, scented skincare products, and anything else that can dry out your skin.
On the day, don’t apply moisturisers, oils or creams – they can interfere with wax adhesion.

Aftercare
Avoid hot showers, tight clothing, exercise, and scented products for the first 24 to 48 hours after your treatment.
(Your hair follicles will still be open, which can make them vulnerable to infection.)
A cool shower and soothing moisturisers with ingredients like aloe vera can help relieve sensitivity.
