Services
Lashes are one of the simplest ways to enhance your appearance – as long as they match your features.
The wrong style can create an over-the-top aesthetic that detracts from your eyes.
It’s why our lash artists conduct a styling assessment before every application.
We’ll then design a custom lash map that builds on your eye shape and facial contours, delivering a natural effect that doesn’t impact your lashes’ health.
Our Differences

We only use high-quality adhesives and premium lashes – products that last long, feel good, and look great.

Extensions aren’t one-size-fits-all.
Our lash artists work with you to design custom lash maps that preserve your lash health and enhance your features.

Over-the-top, noticeable extensions are on their way out.
Benefit from advanced application techniques that deliver an effortlessly natural look.

What to Expect
Step 1
Before you arrive at our clinic, please remove any makeup. Your eyelashes need to be clean and mascara-free for your extensions to hold.
If you’ve booked a full-set extension, we’ll talk through the lash styles that best suit your aesthetic goals.
Step 2
Before we start your treatment, we’ll isolate your bottom lashes with adhesive gel patches.
We’ll then remove any oil and residue mascara from your top lashes with a non-allergenic cleanser.
Step 3
During application, we’ll focus on clean, consistent adhesion that keeps your lashes separate and away from your lash line.
A full set generally takes 1.5 hours to apply. Infills typically take around an hour.
Aftercare
Avoid getting your lashes wet or steamy in the first 24 hours after application.
(If it’s hot and humid, try to stay in air con as much as possible – Airlie Beach summers can be as bad as a sauna.)
After that initial care period, brush and clean them every day with the lash cleanser we’ve recommended.
Never rub, pick, or play with your lashes, and don’t use oil-based mascaras or eyeliners (the oil will damage the lash adhesive).
Questions
A lash extension is a full set of false lashes glued to your existing lashes. A lash infill is the maintenance treatment for an existing set – during your treatment, we’ll remove and replace any damaged or missing lashes.
No, lash extensions shouldn’t look fake (unless you’re aiming for a specific aesthetic). We typically focus on a clean, natural look that enhances your eye and facial structure. It’s one reason we don’t offer mega-volume or ‘fluffy’ extensions.
A good test is to check whether other people notice your eyelashes or eyes first. Ideally, your lashes should act as a frame for your eyes – that’s how they act as a beauty amplifier. (The same principle applies to your brows.)
Yes, they can – if they’re not applied properly. Most damage is caused by either:
If you work with a properly trained technician (like one of our lash artists), you shouldn’t experience any concerns. We use hypoallergenic adhesives and ensure that all false lashes are set away from the lash line, which helps prevent irritation. We also typically avoid excessively long or thick lashes – keeping the weight down means your natural lashes won’t become stressed.
To keep your lashes looking and feeling their best, you’ll need an aftercare plan. We’ll give you personalised suggestions once we’ve finished applying your extensions, but, generally, the following steps are a good idea.
After 2 to 3 weeks have passed, you’ll need new infills to replace fallen lashes. It’s generally a good idea to get infills sooner rather than later – most of our clients find the half-shed look less than ideal.
Most lash serums rely on prostaglandin analogues (PGAs) to stimulate eyelash growth. (PGAs were initially developed to treat glaucoma, an eye disease. Lash growth was a side effect picked up on by cosmetic manufacturers.)
Unlike many beauty products, PGA-based serums do actually work. They also come with serious side effects. Many people who use PGAs report hyperpigmentation (especially around their eyelines), eye irritation, excessive hair growth, changes to iris colour, and orbital fat loss, which makes them look older. Some users have even reported ocular muscle weakness – to the point where the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists has issued a position statement on serums with PGAs.
Lash extensions, on other hand, are a safe, effective, and extremely well-tested product that have been used for decades. If you want longer, fuller lashes, they’re probably your best option.
Wash your lash extensions with a lash-safe cleanser (one that’s oil-free and gentle) each day. Afterwards, use a clean spoolie to brush them into place. Regular cleaning helps protect your eyes from infections and removes natural oils that would otherwise damage the lash adhesive.
Yes, you definitely can, but make sure you avoid oil-based products and waterproof mascara. Oils of any kind will compromise the lash adhesive and cause your lashes to fall out faster.
We strongly recommend against removing your lashes yourself. It’s annoying when your lashes to fall out, and we fully understand the temptation to pull off the stragglers – but please don’t. In all likelihood, your natural lashes will come out with them (and eyelashes normally take 2 to 3 months to regrow). It’s much safer to simply book in an appointment the next day and have them removed professionally.
